Valentine Workshop Part 3

This was the last part of the Valentine Workshop from last week.  I kept telling everyone that it was easy and would go together quick.  We watched Leo from Dreaming Tree put the inside popup together several times and when you are using two-sided paper and you turn your papers over from the side they were supposed to be on, you've somehow made it infinitely harder on yourself!  The colors were chosen based on the rest of the workshop and the La Vie En Rose paper pack.

So, here is my Valentine Popup Card from the Dreaming Tree Valentine Bundle called I Love You SVG Bundle.  The card is 5" x 7" and there is a beautiful envelope to make for it if you want.

Next is the inside of the card:

The last picture is a close up and different viewpoint of the beautiful heart pop-up.

Here is what I used for this final project:

Papers:  La Vie En Rose Paper Pack, Pomegranate and Black Cardstocks;
Inks:  Black and Pomegranate Exclusive Inks
Embellishments None
Other:   I Love You SVG Bundle

Later on I did add the "Happy Valentine's Day" stamp from the Stamp of the Month - Beloved Bouquet to the outside of the card and embossed one of the sayings from that set on the inside of the card.  You must have stamping!  :-)

Happy crafting!  Hope this gives you a few ideas for Valentine's Day!

Valentine Workshop Part 2

This is a continuation of yesterday's post.  We did six cards at my workshop last Saturday.  Five of the cards were standard cards, and tomorrow I will post the 6th card which was a 5"x7" card with a popup in the center.  It was an SVG file from Dreaming Tree.

The first picture is all 5 of the standard cards:

Now I will show each card separately for a better look.  The first one actually started out on the Roses side of the paper and then ended up switching to the black pattern:

Papers:  La Vie En Rose Paper Pack, Pomegranate, and White Daisy Cardstocks;
Inks:  Pomegranate Exclusive Inks
Embellishments:  Gold Ribbon (probably from Walmart; Gold Chevron Washi Paper from Hobby Lobby; Spellbinder scalloped heart and heart dies; Opaques Pearl Adhesive Gems (Ret.)

This next card was CASED from a lovely Australian consultant Denise Tarlington's blog.  I couldn't help myself, her card was SO lovely!  She has great instructions for creating this lovely card!

Papers:  La Vie En Rose Paper Pack, Pomegranate, Black and White Daisy Cardstocks;
Inks:  Pomegranate, Fern and Black Exclusive Inks
Embellishments Z1809 Black Shimmer Trim; Z3075 Red Glitter Paper

This next one I had the white card, the black matt and the rose pattern paper sitting on my craft pad for 2 days trying to figure out what to do.  Finally a mistake from another card helped me to pull this one together.

Papers:  La Vie En Rose Paper Pack, Black and White Daisy Cardstocks;
Inks:  Pomegranate, Fern, and Black Exclusive Inks
Embellishments Z1985 Gold Shimmer Trim; Z2012 Gold sequins; Gold Glitter Glue from Ben Franklin's in Havre, MT

This one you saw earlier from last week's MojoMonday post.  I still think it is a fun card.  I love layers!

Papers:  La Vie En Rose Paper Pack, Pomegranate, Black and White Daisy Cardstocks;
Inks:  Pomegranate Exclusive Inks
Embellishments Z1809 Black Shimmer Trim; Z3075 Red Glitter Paper; Spellbinder scallop and circle dies; Opaques Licorice Adhesive Gems (Ret.)

Last is a card that started out to be a portrait style card but after realizing that all my cards were portrait, I turned it into a landscape style card.

Papers:  La Vie En Rose Paper Pack, Pomegranate, Black and White Daisy Cardstocks;
Inks:  Pomegranate Exclusive Inks

Have a lovely day crafting!

Valentine Workshop

This past Saturday was a great day for a workshop!  The featured stamp set was the Stamp of the Month, Beloved Bouquet.  We did 5 standard size cards, a treat box, and a 5" x 7" popup card that was cut from Dreaming Tree Site.  I used the La Vie En Rose paper pack.  It is so much lovelier when you see it.  Pictures never do it justice!

The first item is the treat box filled with Hugs and Kisses:

This box was created from the Cricut CTMH Artiste cartridge.  It's on page 37.  If you want to download the Handbook for this cartridge, you can find it on Cricut's site here:  http://content.cricut.com/b/pdfs/res/handbooks/Artiste_Handbook_web.pdf

Recipe:

Papers:  La Vie En Rose Paper Pack, Black and White Daisy Cardstocks;
Inks:  Pomegranate Exclusive Inks
Embellishments Z3075 Red Glitter Paper; Hershey's Hugs & Kisses

If you would like to download my Design Space file for this treat box, you can find it here: https://us.cricut.com/design/#/canvas/35857500.  Anyway I think that is the link.  If not I will correct and repost.

Stay tuned tomorrow for the rest of the workshop.

Happy Crafting my friends!

Cricut Artistry Collection

There was a discussion on the consultant bulletin board today about the frames that come with the new Cricut Artistry collection.  One of the consultant thought the frames external shapes would be the shape that was cut with the Cricut but as it turns out, the inside of the frame is what is cut for a different type of creativity.  Below is the stamp set from the Artistry collection.

So, I thought you all might be interrested in learning a little more about the new Cricut Artistry Collection and stamp sets.  Here is Carly to tell us more:

You can see more information about purchasing this amazing cartridge on my Shop Online site here:

Chistmas Nativity Paperscape Box Card

Still loving Sangria papers and cut out this great Nativity Paperscape Box Card from Dreaming Tree 3D SVGs.

Here are photos of a Paperscape Christmas Nativity with all the pieces put together.  It is approximately 10" tall, and about an inch wide:

The next picture has the little tea light that sets perfectly in the back of the Paperscape to light the box.

I love the way this looks with the Sangria Papers!

Happy Ninth day of Chrismas!  The gift of the Ninth Day of Christmas is Nine Ladies Dancing!  Did you know that those nine ladies dancing represent the Nine Fruits of the Holy Spirit?  Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Generosity, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control.

Today, I pray that you will be able to share these gifts!

Christmas Treat Holder

For Christmas treats for those at my office, I decided to whip up a quick little treat holder from my Cricut.  It wasn't a lot but it was something to let them know I was thinking of them.  This is what I did with Christmas WOTG called Mistletoe (Retired):

This has a little more of the a view from the top so you can see how wide it is:

A close up of a single treat box:

Papers:  Mistletoe WOTG Paper Pack, Cranberry, and Kraft Cardstocks;
Stamps None
Inks:  None Exclusive Inks
Embellishments Cranberry Baker's String (Retired); Green Sequins from the Dollar Store
Other:  CTMH Cricket Artiste Cartridge

These were quick to whip up and I just love how the yo-yo flowers look.  I scored the B&T paper every 1/4" and cut a strip of paper at 3/4" wide x 12".

I hope everyone had a super Christmas and full of sweets!
